Dr Etagbo Eta, MD, MPH FASN

Dr. Eta is board certified in internal Medicine and Nephrology. He is currently a member of the American Society of Nephrology. Dr Eta attended University of Alabama School of Public Health where he obtained his Master of Public Health (MPH) degree. He completed his Internal Medicine residency training at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and worked as a Doctor of Internal Medicine at Northwest Hospital in Maryland for many years. Given his desire to specialize in kidney disease and the personal experience of losing his beloved uncle who was on Hemodialysis to kidney disease related complications; Dr Eta relocated to Alabama where he completed his Nephrology fellowship at the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine. During his Nephrology fellowship training, he had the special recognition to serve as the Chief Fellow in his UAB graduating class. Dr Eta is a devoted husband and Dad of three children who keep him busy outside of his work as a Kidney disease and Hypertension Specialist. He is a Christian who loves to play and coach Soccer. He also enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.

Phaedra Hill-Lazenby, AGACNP-BC

Phaedra Hill-Lazenby is a nephrology nurse practitioner for the Kidney Medical Clinic. She is from Attalla Alabama where she graduated from Etowah high school. She has been a nurse for over 30 years starting as an LPN growing to BSN to an adult gerontology acute nurse practitioner – board-certified. Graduating from Walden University with her MSN in 2019. She is no stranger to the Kidney Med Clinic as she helped open the doors back in 2020 however, during the pandemic, she moved to Gainesville Georgia, where she practiced as a nephrology nurse practitioner for 3 1/2 years. upon returning to her hometown, she rejoined this clinic, as it was a place she could call home. Phaedra has 12 years of Dialysis experience, including several modalities. She is most proficient in hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. Her hobbies include crafting, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. She is married and has a 20 something year-old daughter pursuing her psychology degree at Troy University, with plans to follow in her mom‘s footsteps to become a physician's assistant.

Donna Farlow

Donna Farlow was born and raised here in Gadsden Alabama. Donna excels at her position due to the 15 years of working in the front office.  In Donna’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband of 26 years, her 3 sons, her granddaughter and she is looking forward to the newest member of their family arriving in October. She is also a devoted member of North Gadsden Baptist Church where she loves the time she has to teach and inspire her preschool aged students.

Lishala Carter, Practice Manager

Lishala is a graduate of Litchfield High School. She holds a Master's in Public Health. She is a published author, certified Doula and ChildBirth Educator, herbalist and mentor. She is a member of the illustrious sisterhood Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is a wife, mother and servant. She loves writing, learning and thrifting. Often referred to as the Purpose Pusher, Lishala is a beacon of hope and light to those she encounters.
